Editorial Policy
ManyPress is committed to transparency in how we source, process, and present news content. This Editorial Policy explains our approach to news aggregation and AI-powered content creation.
1. How We Source News
ManyPress aggregates articles from publicly available RSS feeds published by established, reputable news organizations. Our sources include major international outlets such as BBC News, Reuters, TechCrunch, The Guardian, and NASA, among others. We select sources based on their journalistic reputation, reliability, and breadth of coverage.
We do not produce original reporting or conduct independent journalism. Our role is to aggregate and make existing news more accessible through AI rewriting and multilingual translation. For major stories covered by several outlets, we may combine the reporting from multiple sources into a single synthesized brief that credits and links to every outlet it draws on.
2. The AI Rewriting Process
Every article on ManyPress is independently rewritten by artificial intelligence. We use Google Gemini as our primary rewriting model, with Groq (Llama) as a fallback. When neither AI service can produce a satisfactory rewrite, the story is skipped rather than published — we publish only genuine, fully AI-rewritten articles, never raw or machine-copied source text. The AI reads the original article content obtained from RSS feeds and produces a new, original version of the text. This process:
- Creates a fresh, independently worded article — not a copy or minor paraphrase of the original.
- Preserves the key facts, context, and meaning of the original reporting.
- May restructure, summarize, or expand upon the original content for clarity.
- Generates new headlines that accurately reflect the article content.
3. No Human Editorial Review
ManyPress operates as an automated platform. Articles are processed and published by AI without individual human editorial review. While we continuously monitor and improve our AI systems, readers should be aware that:
- AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, awkward phrasing, or misinterpretations.
- No human editor verifies each article before publication.
- We rely on the accuracy of our source publications for factual content.
If you notice any inaccuracies or issues with our content, please contact us at editorial@manypress.com and we will address the matter promptly.
4. Original Attribution
We always preserve and display attribution to the original source of every article. Each article on ManyPress includes:
- The name of the original news organization.
- A direct link to the original article.
We believe in giving credit to the journalists and organizations who perform the original reporting. Readers are encouraged to visit original sources for the most authoritative version of any story.
5. Multilingual Translation
ManyPress offers articles in multiple languages through machine translation (Google Translate). Translations are provided for accessibility and convenience. As with any machine translation, there may be nuances or subtleties lost in translation. The English version of articles should be considered the primary reference.
6. Images
Article images come from one of several sources, in order of preference:
- The original publisher's RSS feed — where an outlet supplies an image in its feed for syndication, we may display it alongside attribution and a link back to the original article.
- Wikimedia / Wikipedia — for stories about a specific named person, organization, or place, an openly licensed image may be used.
- Pexels — a royalty-free stock image, selected by keyword, used under Pexels' free commercial license.
Images are illustrative and may not depict the exact events described. If you are a rights holder and believe an image has been used improperly, please see our Copyright & Takedown section below and we will remove it promptly.
7. Editorial Independence
ManyPress operates independently and is not affiliated with any political party, government, or special interest group. Our AI processes all articles uniformly regardless of political orientation, subject matter, or source. We do not editorialize, inject opinion, or selectively present news to promote any particular viewpoint.
8. Content Categories
Articles are automatically categorized by our AI into sections including World News, Technology, Business, Science, Health, Sports, Entertainment, Politics, War & Conflicts, and Fashion. Category assignment is algorithmic and based on the content of each article.
9. Corrections and Feedback
We take accuracy seriously. If you identify an error, misleading content, or have concerns about any article, please contact us at editorial@manypress.com. We will review and, if necessary, correct or remove the content in question.
10. Copyright & Takedown Requests
ManyPress respects the rights of content creators and publishers. Our briefs are independently rewritten and always link back to the original source, but if you are a rights holder and believe that any text or image on ManyPress infringes your copyright, we will act on your request quickly.
To submit a takedown request, email copyright@manypress.com with the following:
- The URL of the ManyPress page in question.
- A description of the copyrighted work and, where relevant, a link to the original.
- Your name, contact details, and a statement of your relationship to the work.
- A statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the rights holder or the law.
We aim to review and, where appropriate, remove or amend the content within 5 business days of receiving a valid request. We will also, on request, deactivate a source feed so that no further content from it is processed.
