Actor and entrepreneur Tracee Ellis Ross has launched three new products under her Pattern Beauty brand, focusing on heat styling and hair health for textured hair.

Tracee Ellis Ross has expanded her hair care brand, Pattern Beauty, with the release of a new heat styling collection. The launch includes a Vibrating Flat Iron, a Blow Out Primer, and a Detox Shampoo, all designed to support the versatility of curly, coily, and tight-textured hair. Ross stated that the products aim to allow users to style their hair while maintaining health and minimizing damage.

New Heat Styling Technology

The centerpiece of the new collection is the Vibrating Flat Iron, a 1.1-inch ceramic-coated tool. It features 14 customizable heat settings that reach up to 450 degrees in 20-degree intervals. The iron produces 12,000 vibrations per minute, which is intended to help hair glide more freely and reduce the friction and tension often caused by multiple passes or pulling. Additional safety features include a cool tip guard and an automatic shut-off function after 60 minutes of use.

Preparation and Protection

To complement the heat tool, Pattern Beauty introduced a Detox Shampoo and a Blow Out Primer. The shampoo is formulated to remove product buildup, hard minerals, and chlorine from the hair and scalp without stripping away moisture. The Blow Out Primer is a lightweight spray cream that provides heat protection up to 425 degrees. Ross noted that the primer is designed to provide 'slip' to the hair without the use of silicone, aiming to reduce styling time and protect strands during the heat-styling process.
