Disney is developing a live-action version of its 2010 animated film Tangled, which will be directed by Michael Gracey with a screenplay by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. Casting has been announced for the lead roles: Teagan Croft will play Rapunzel, Milo Manheim will portray Flynn Rider, and Kathryn Hahn has been cast as the antagonist, Mother Gothel. A first look at Croft in costume was shared during the D3 event in August 2026.
