How Xavi Leveled Up With His Second LP ‘Dosis’

on a sold-out tour, and continued to release new music with some of the biggest names in Latin music, including Fuerza Regida , Belinda, and Netón Vega, just to name a few. Now, the 22 year-old star is gearing up for the release of his second LP Dosis , out today. Dosis has already proven that a sophomore slump won’t be an issue for the Mexican American singer. “La Morrita” with Carin León and “No Capea” with Grupo Frontera already topped Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. Plus, the album is a showcase of musical power with features from Fuerza, Grupo, and even Colombian singer Manuel Turizo. “There’s new material for everybody to listen to because sometimes you just need something fresh,” Xavi tells Rolling Stone over Zoom. He’s at a tour stop in Mexico, where he’s been playing the latest leg of his X tour , the star’s biggest live slate to date. At the end of the month, Xavi will take the stage at the Rose Bowl for MexTour Live, the official send-off celebration for the Mexican National Team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It’s an exciting time for the young star as he releases his most ambitious project yet. Below, Xavi details how he embraced new sounds and worked with some of his dream collaborators to make Dosis . You’re in the middle of your massive seven-date Mexican leg of the X tour. How has it been and what are you looking forward to?
